There are many interesting aspects of British-German relations. If you ever wanted to know more about German society, history or culture, the speaker programme of the German Embassy can help you to invite a German expert. The programme was developed for schools, universities or British-German clubs who want to know more about Germany. The event can take place in your facilities while the German Embassy will pay for the speaker’s travel costs and expenses.

Our speakers have been living in Britain for many years and are experts in their fields. They include journalists, teachers, academics or former employees of the Embassy. Their talks cover a number of topics on politics, economy, media, literature, arts or history in Germany as well as the development of British-German relations over the years.
