From Saturday 12 April, travellers will no longer be able to bring cattle, sheep, goat, and pig meat, as well as dairy products, from EU countries into Great Britain for personal use.
The UK government is gradually introducing the requirement for an electronic travel authorisation (ETA). This applies to German nationals from 2 April 2025.
